Khati is the settlement town of the Peresins. It is “ruled” by Duke Lorrell. However this is the outskirts of the kingdom and mostly everyone is a law unto themselves. Lorrell sees that supplies come and go but rule is hard. 

This is a dangerous place. At the edge of civilization the wild pushes back. There are dangerous monsters and beasts, outlaws, raiders, and heretics also inhabit the area. Few civilians live in Khati. There are a few who live around the area. 

There are garrisons of knights. They are from a number of lords and with different reasons for being there. Some are extremely honorable like the Order of Zul who devote themselves to the aid of pilgrims coming to the numerous shrines. There are also the scum at the bottom of the barrel sent here to be removed from their lord for the displeasure they’ve caused them. 

There are holy orders of priests, knights and combinations of the two. Some with the rare mage. 

Pilgrims come frequently although usually in small numbers. There are a number of holy places and shrines in the area. Some that are said to heal, bless, or make right with your deity.       

Considering further development
